Key Partnerships
Fisher College of Business partners with top women in business organizations to create a powerful platform for success in business.
Fisher has partnered with the Forté Foundation to provide higher numbers of women with access to business education and networking opportunities and to encourage women to pursue careers in business. Forté hosts many events throughout the year focused on the professional and career development of prospective female MBA candidates, current students and alumni.
As a student at Fisher, you will be able to become a member of the Forté Foundation and participate in their yearly leadership conference, search their job center and attend focused career prep webinars. In addition, a select number of qualified incoming Fisher MBA students are awarded Forté Fellows each year which provides scholarship support, additional networking opportunities and a lifetime Forté membership.
National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA)
Dedicated to empowering women MBAs, the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA) works to propel women into leadership positions in corporate America and to enhance diversity in the nation’s workforce.
NAWMBA provides exceptional networking opportunities for Fisher students.
The Women's Place embraces a vision of the university which supports all women to thrive, advance, and make their full contributions within an environment characterized by equity, freedom, and dignity for all people.
The Women's Place works to catalyze change at Ohio State by focusing on these four areas: policy, culture, leadership and reporting the status of women.

Recruitment and Career Management Success
Fisher has a strong presence at the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) and the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) conferences, among others. Our student ambassadors make personal contact with prospective students.
Recruiters consistently hire our graduates both for their business acumen and their ability to collaborate and manage new ideas. Fisher’s Office of Career Management helps students successfully manage their career search and minority recruitment fairs have enabled Fisher to place students with top companies, including JPMorgan Chase, Proctor & Gamble, IBM, General Electric, and L Brands, to name a few.
Educational and Professional Diversity
Fisher’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion Student Services offers academic counseling, scholarships, need-based financial aid, and tutoring services for minority undergraduate and graduate students and support to campus departments, corporations, companies, and agencies which seek to help minority students succeed academically, financially, and socially.
Student Community
Student organizations and activities are as varied as our students themselves. Student groups bring speakers to campus, sponsor conferences and other special events, organize networking opportunities, and hold career development forums in collaboration with the Office of Career Management. As a member of one of Fisher’s student organizations, students can connect locally and nationally with peers in social and professional settings, as well as with top executives and alumni from around the world.

HBCU Scholarship (value: $50,000) - In order to be considered for the HBCU scholarship, you must have graduated from a Historically Black College or University. Learn more and apply for this scholarship >

Military Veteran Scholarship (value: $50,000) - In order to be considered for the Military Veteran Scholarship, applicants must have been honorably discharged, and must be attending an accredited college, university or technical school. Diversity: Fisher + The Deloitte Foundataion
The Deloitte Foundation, in collaboration with The Ohio State University, has created a need-based scholarship fund to support diverse students at the university’s Max M. Fisher College of Business. The funds will provide $150,000 in scholarships over a three-year period to select students who are enrolled in Project THRIVE or the MAcc program – and who have expressed interest in pursuing a career in professional services – to complete the fifth year of education required to become a CPA.
