Fisher Undergraduate Job Shadow Program

Are you a first-year through junior student interested in exploring a particular career path or learning about a company, but you aren’t sure how?  The Fisher Undergraduate Job Shadow Program is an opportunity for undergraduate business students to spend time with industry professionals at an employer’s site, see how Fisher specializations apply in a professional environment, and discover possible career paths.  This program takes place at a variety of different company locations in the state of Ohio during The Ohio State University breaks.  Contact Noella Mascarenhas at Mascarenhas.27@osu.edu with questions.  

BUSADM 2600: Undergraduate Speaker Series Course

This is a great opportunity for students to learn about the business specializations from Alumni who are currently working. We bring in speakers from each specialization to discuss what they are doing, why they selected their major, why their personality and skill set fit with their major/career, etc.  This 1-credit hour course is taught Spring semester each year.

  Whether you are exploring majors or looking for more information about your chosen field of study, "What Can I Do With This Major?” is a valuable tool designed to help you connect your major and interests to career paths. This resource details the typical industries, career areas, and employers associated with each major and covers strategies aimed at making you a more marketable candidate after graduation. “What Can I Do With This Major?” is a free, virtual resource available to all Ohio State students.

  This collection of assessments aims to guide students’ career interests based on their personality, skills, values, work interests and leisure interests. Students can explore their results tied to majors/minors offered at Ohio State University and to occupations listed on the Occupational Outlook Handbook links.
