Workstreams
New offering: Workstreams
The Risk Institute is excited to launch new, cohort-style learning experiences, or “Workstreams,” designed to allow risk and risk-adjacent professionals to explore cutting-edge topics affecting enterprise risk management. By collaborating with a diverse group of professionals in interactive and practical sessions, participants apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, gaining valuable insights and skills for various roles.
This fall we’re hosting two Workstreams:
Led by industry experts, AI Risk and Governance will take cohort participants through a hands-on and in-depth exploration of artificial intelligence as a business asset. Participants will:
- Be introduced to the current landscape and regulatory trends regarding AI.
- Explore successful AI governance model use cases.
- Learn how to identify and define the risks associated with AI.
- Take action on how to assess, manage and develop solutions for AI use in your organization.
In today's increasingly interconnected world, understanding and mitigating third-party risks is a crucial role in any industry. Resilience and Third-Party Risk will provide participants with practical insights and strategies to effectively manage and mitigate risks associated with external partners and vendors. Participants will:
- Hear from a panel of experts on resiliency strategies.
- Review successful case studies to managing third-party risk and anticipating disruptions.
- Learn how to identify and define third-party risk within your company and industry.
- Assess, design and develop an approach to increase resiliency and better manage third-party risk within your organization.
Workstreams will meet four times, and participants are expected to attend all sessions:
- Friday, Sept. 6 - Kickoff Brunch
- Tuesday, Sept. 24 - Session 1
- Tuesday, Oct. 29 - Session 2
- Wednesday, Nov. 20 - Wrap-up and Report Out Luncheon
